Privacy Policy

You can browse and search opportunities without signing in. We use product analytics to understand how Vurzay is used (see "Analytics" below). We do not use advertising tracking.

When you create an account we collect your email address and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to Vurzay.

Your Passport is optional. Anything you choose to add may include:

• About you: full name, country of residence, nationality/citizenship (a separate field from country of residence), date of birth and phone number.
• Education: level of study, field of study, institution, graduation year, GPA and GPA scale.
• Goals: goal type, target country, target field and notes.
• Preferences: opportunity types and preferred regions.

We use this to personalise discovery and to check stated opportunity requirements against your information. Those checks run in your browser. Vurzay does not currently collect documents.

If you track an opportunity, we store which opportunity it is, the status you set, its deadline and the dates the record was created and updated. You apply on the provider's website; Vurzay does not submit applications for you.

If you email us, we keep your message and email address to respond to you.

We use PostHog to measure how Vurzay is used. It records pages viewed and a small set of actions: signing up, signing in, viewing an opportunity, searching (whether a search was made and which category was selected — not what you typed), choosing a filter, running requirement checks, starting to track an opportunity, opening an official link and first saving your Passport. Events may contain limited structural information: opportunity identifiers and categories, the selected filter category, whether a search was made, the number of requirements checked, and which Passport section was first saved.

PostHog also automatically receives technical information such as your browser and device type, screen size, the website that referred you, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Page addresses are cleaned before sending: search words are removed, and on private pages everything after the page address is removed. Page titles are not sent.

Analytics never receives your name, email, Passport answers, nationality, education details, search text or tracked-application details. If you are signed in, events are linked to a random account identifier, not your email. We do not record your screen or keystrokes.

We store your sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in. PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and your browser's local storage to count visits. We do not use advertising cookies.

• Our website hosting provider — serves the site.
• Google Fonts — delivers the fonts used on the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your Passport and tracked applications are private to your account and protected by access rules so other users cannot read them. They are not shown publicly or shared with opportunity providers.

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect your information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

We keep your information while your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

You can view and edit your Passport at any time. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information or account, email hello.vurzay@gmail.com.

We may update this policy as Vurzay changes. We will update the date above when we do.
